We searched for a unifying vibe—something that defined the culture. The answer? We are a garage band!

But aiming for big contracts didn’t exactly align with that spirit. There was a tension to resolve.

So we created a new name for a Smart Software Garage together with the visual identity created by the UK designer Simon Gray. It was meant to be completely unique in the industry, which was supposed to distinguish BOOT!Q from the sterile, blue-on-blue universe of Czech IT companies.


B!Q rules!

The team embraced the identity—stickers on laptops, strong coffee in B!Q mugs, and business cards that said B!Q Developer or B!Q Sales instead of standard titles. Then, they went to battle.

Today, BOOT!Q Group has over 400 people, operates across Central Europe, and continues to grow in performance and revenue.

We helped them scale their communication for the big leagues. But are they still the smart garage? Absolutely. Independence, free thinking, open relationships, and the courage to tackle the impossible remain at their core.
